About Me

With over ten years of experience in IT, I work as a data analyst and data engineer, helping organizations — including several Fortune 500 companies — turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support better business decisions. As a US citizen, I bring a working understanding of US data protection, privacy, and federal compliance requirements, which has been particularly valuable on projects involving sensitive government, defense, and healthcare data. 

Professional Expertise

I’ve built my expertise across a wide range of industries, with particularly deep experience in government and defense (DoD, federal and state agencies, space manufacturing, aviation, and airlines), healthcare and life sciences (pharmaceuticals, healthcare providers, and payers), and financial services (banking and insurance). I’ve also worked extensively in technology, e-commerce and retail, transportation and logistics, energy and utilities, telecommunications, higher education, and entertainment — giving me a broad view of how data drives decisions across very different business models.

My core technical toolkit includes SQL and PL/SQL, Python, and Excel for analysis and data manipulation; Tableau and Power BI for building interactive dashboards, including dashboards with user-level security; and Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Db2, MySQL, and PostgreSQL for relational database work. On the data warehousing side, I’ve worked with Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, and Snowflake.

For data engineering and integration, I use Informatica and other ETL tools to build pipelines, Delphix for data masking and virtualization, and OpenRefine for data cleansing. I work within Agile and SDLC frameworks, and have led projects integrating multiple lines of business into shared claims platforms to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

Defense and National Security Contribution

My work with the Department of Defense and various federal defense contractors has sharpened both my analytical and engineering skills. These projects demand a high level of precision and reliability, and that experience has given me a strong foundation in the data technologies and methodologies needed to turn complex, sensitive datasets into actionable insights.

Professional Flexibility

I’m open to relocating anywhere in the US and can travel up to 100% if needed. I’m comfortable working remotely, in hybrid arrangements, or fully on-site, and adapt easily to different team structures and project environments.
